Raj Comics is an Famous Indian Comic Book Publisher. It is the largest comic book distributor and publisher in India. Raj Comics was started in 1986 by Rajkumar Gupta named as Raja Pocket Books. Now his sons Sanjay Gupta, Manish Gupta and Manoj Gupta continued Raj Comics.
Raja Pocket Books started publishing Raj Comics and King Comics simultaneously. King comics only lasted for almost 2-3 years. After that some Heroes of King Comics like Gamraj, Vakra were merged into Raj Comics.
Around the start of 90s, Raj Comics were so popular because of its famous characters such as Nagraj, Dhruv, Doga, Bankelal etc. Not just Children's, Parents were also became Raj comics Fan. Raj comics was changed the misconception of parents towards comics-reading.
